Well now its official, the money giveaway isn't boosting ratings. In fact this weeks edition of WWE RAW actually scored a 3.0 which is down from last week's 3.1 rating. Considering all the effort and hype WWE are putting into this, those numbers have to be disappointing.
One small glimmer of good news is that RAW has the top two time shifted hours on cable, which may give them and extra 0.2 when all is said and done. It's not much but when you look at the current ratings, anything is better than nothing.

The prizewinner segmets on RAW are considered to be a bit of a failure and apparently there are plans to somehow make them more entertaining next week. But rumor has it that Vince is taking a less active role in the creative process recently. This is actually creating a problem because the creative teams aren't really sure what direction they're supposed to be going in.
No one is certain which wrestlers will be switched in the upcoming draft and as a result there is little or no long term writing going on. It all sounds like a bit of a mess really.
