WWE.com has posted it and made it official. Christian has quit WWE. He officially worked his last match last night at the Smackdown tapings. So we will see him this week on Smackdown. I’m not clear if an angle was taped to explain his departure or if he will simply not be seen any more.

A couple of nasty sounding injuries are being reported. The more minor of the two is Edge who apparently has a partial pec tear. Edge isn’t expected to need surgery, but probably will require some rehab. It’s not clear yet whether he will work Taboo Tuesday or not.

TNA scored their highest rating so far with the fourth episode of TNA iMPACT! to air on Spike TV. The show scored an impressive 0.9 rating which compares very favorably to iMPACT!s average rating for the timeslot of just over 0.8.
